At Wood Hill Veterinary Clinic, your pet's well-being is our top priority. When you schedule your pet's appointment, you'll receive essential pre-surgical instructions, including fasting guidelines. Upon your arrival, our team will take the time to address any questions or concerns you may have, providing a thorough explanation of the surgical procedure, along with its associated benefits. Should you have inquiries about anesthesia, pain management, or monitoring, we are here to provide you with comprehensive answers and reassurance.

Prioritizing Your Pet's Health:

Before commencing the surgery, our dedicated team conducts a comprehensive wellness examination, complemented by pre-anesthetic blood testing. These tests play a crucial role in ensuring your pet's suitability for the procedure and identifying any underlying health issues that may require treatment before surgery.

Continuous Monitoring for Optimal Safety:

Throughout every stage of the surgery, including the crucial recovery phase, we maintain meticulous vigilance over your pet's vital signs. This includes monitoring heart rate, respiration, EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. To further enhance your pet's safety and well-being, we have a dedicated technician on hand to monitor pets before, during, and after the surgery.

I grant the veterinarian at Wood Hill Veterinary Clinic permission to perform any unforeseen medical procedures and address emergencies as they see fit in their professional judgment during my pet's care. I accept full financial responsibility for any associated costs.
I prefer to be contacted and informed before any additional procedures, excluding emergencies, are performed on my pet. If I cannot be reached, I authorize the veterinarian to proceed only in the case of unforeseen necessary treatments.
In the event that I cannot be reached by phone, I do not authorize the veterinarian to proceed with any necessary medical procedures, including emergencies. I understand that in such cases, I release Wood Hill Veterinary Clinic from all responsibility for any unforeseen incidents.

I acknowledge that during the procedure, unforeseen conditions may arise that require an extension or modification of the procedure.
